Why the desk costs what it costs

The Saloon Desk replaces both a desk and an office chair. A well-regarded ergonomic office chair on its own is $1,000 or more, and a sit-stand desk is several hundred on top of that. At $999 the Saloon Desk costs less than the two pieces of furniture it removes from your room. At $599 it is not really a comparison.

The Saloon Desk

A fully adjustable office desk replacement that fits over any couch or armchair, even big recliners from La-Z-Boy or Stressless. My favorite is the IKEA POÄNG — it’s only $150 and it beats any so-called ergonomic office chair.

Sit down, flip the desk tops down and work in comfort

The top surfaces are high-quality mouse mats, and under each is a 1 mm thick sheet of steel. Just attach the magnetic strip we include to the underside of your keyboard and it stays in place when you get in and out. There’s even a catch rail to keep your mouse always at hand.
